Villa Serena is a private beach cottage located just below Mirisbiris Garden and Nature Center in Santo Domingo, Albay. Nestled between forest and sea, this rustic home is perfect for families, groups of friends, or digital nomads seeking peace, nature, and quiet productivity.

Bedrooms: 2 large bedrooms with queen beds and pull-out singles
Common Area: 2 bunk beds (4 single beds)

- 1 indoor bathroom with hot shower and bidet
- 1 outdoor basic bathroom with bucket flush toilet and unheated shower
Kitchen: Fully equipped with stovetop, fridge, sink, kettle, toaster, utensils, and cookware. (No oven)
Dining: Indoor and outdoor dining areas; barbecue grill available
Internet: Free Starlink Wi-Fi for fast and stable connection
Electricity & Water: 24/7 power, with staff assisting water refill twice daily

Beachfront Location

Villa Serena sits directly on the beach, with Mayon Volcano visible from the cottage and the shoreline. Guests enjoy quiet mornings, swimming in gentle waves, and stargazing at night. Please note there is no lifeguard—swimming is at your own risk. The beach has sand and pebbles, and water shoes are recommended.

Access to the cottage is via approximately 125 stone steps from the main road/parking area. The walk offers a scenic entry but may not be suitable for those with mobility issues.

Rates & Booking Information

Base Rate: ₱5,000 per night (includes up to 8 guests)
Extra Guests:
- ₱500 per additional adult
- ₱250 per child (ages 7–12)
- Maximum total: 10 guests
Check-in: 2:00 PM–9:00 PM
Check-out: 12:00 PM

Breakfast is included and served at the beach house. Guests may also dine at the restaurant at Mirisbiris Visitor Center, located 700 meters uphill.

Included Access to Mirisbiris Garden & Nature Center

Villa Serena guests are welcome to explore the gardens, forest trails, beach, and hanging bridge at Mirisbiris. Simply inform the gate attendant that you’re staying at the beach house. Educational and nature tours are also available upon request.

Villa Serena is pet-friendly (by request and subject to additional cleaning fee)
No smoking indoors
Expect occasional visits from harmless geckos and lizards (they help control bugs)
Quiet hours begin at 9:00 PM
Please pack light due to stair access; staff can assist as needed
